Boks hit by more claims

THE contents of former Springbok communications manager Mark Keohane’s seven-page report into alleged cases of prejudice in South African rugby have been leaked to the media, with an Australian newspaper carrying renewed allegations against the embattled Bok management team.

Today's edition of the Sydney Morning Herald reports that according to Keohane's dossier, South African officials "knew that one of their players had bitten Wallaby hooker Brendan Cannon during last month's Brisbane Test".

Keohane's 12,000-word document also apparently reveals the Springboks did, in fact, secretly tape Australia's final training session before the Cape Town Tri-Nations Test on July 12 all the parties had denied it.
