Injury to O'Gara causing concern

OUTHALF Ronan O'Gara limped out of Munster training at Musgrave Park yesterday with an ankle injury, eleven days before the province's Heineken Cup quarter final against Stade Francais.

O'Gara left training on crutches and will have a scan to assess the extent of the damage this morning.

"We don't know the full story yet," admitted Munster coach, Alan Gaffney. "Unfortunately, he just went over on his ankle and was immediately put on crutches; that's precautionary, though I don't think he's looking too good for Friday night's Celtic League game against Celtic Warriors. That doesn't particularly concern me, as long as he'll be alright for Saturday week."
