THERE was a nasty surprise for the Munster rugby squad when they returned to their dressing room after training at University of Limerick.

A break-in had taken place with mobile phones, money, jewellery and other personal items stolen. Entry was gained through a window. A UL spokesman said: “Somebody planned the theft in advance and struck when the lads were out on the pitch.”

Munster play Castres in a crucial Heineken Cup game this weekend.
