Significantly better off with Happy Pharoah from their clash in a rated race on this track, the Johnny Murtagh-trained Floresta readily reversed placings and bagged valuable black type when landing the listed Vinnie Roe Stakes in Leopardstown.

In the colours of Newtown Anner Stud, the Waldgeist filly stayed on stoutly up the straight to triumph by four and a quarter lengths, giving stable-jockey Ben Coen his 37th success of the season.
