The Cusack Hotel Group Family Fun Day July 13 Handicap is the feature on Tuesday’s seven-race programme in Navan and the Ger Lyons-trained Poetic Sound can make a winning return to action.

Unraced at two, he made his debut in mid-July at Killarney and there was strong market support for him. However, it was a strangely run race and his lack of experience showed as he finished fourth behind Emphasis, who went a long way clear in the middle of the race and didn’t come back to his rivals.
