Runner-up in each of his three starts, First Wave should get his head in front and open his account in the Dundalk Stadium Open All Summer Maiden on a Dundalk card which shares the Friday evening slot with jumps action in Wexford.

A Wootton Bassett colt trained by Aidan O’Brien, he has been a beaten favourite twice but, expected to have taken a significant step forward from his recent seasonal debut at the Curragh and rated 90, he sets a high standard in this seven-furlong maiden.
