Eight races in Powerstown Park, Clonmel and punters can get the afternoon off to a winning start by siding with Ballybrittas in the opener, the Kilmanahan Beginners’ Chase.

Philip Rothwell’s Champs Elysees gelding won two point-to-points in early 2024 and it took just two goes inside the rails for him to make his mark, which he did in a maiden hurdle at Limerick.
