The Mullins family may have been in the ascendancy at their local Gowran Park track but two upwardly mobile stables both made their mark on the undercard, particularly Co Waterford trainer Declan Queally.
The young man has been having quite the season, and he took it to another level when Rocky’s Diamond became the first leg of the yard’s double when taking the Grade Two John Mulhern Galmoy Hurdle in great style.
