Who’d have thought it? The dust has settled on a busy and usually informative Christmas period and yet on Tuesday morning, it was 10-1 the field for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.

At Leopardstown alone, we had Romeo Coolio winning a Grade One, Kaid d’Authie, Kopek Des Bordes, and Workahead all winning maidens, and yet none of them achieved enough to impress bookmakers or punters.
