The Harvey brothers, Alex and Ben, delivered a double for in-form John McConnell on rain-softened ground in Kilbeggan.

Alex, a 5lb claimer, partnered Zefania, who contested the Group 1 Prix de l’Opera as a three-year-old, to a gutsy win in the www.kilbegganraces.com Mares Maiden Hurdle while Ben struck on Churchwarden in the Kilbeggan Racecourse Novice Handicap Hurdle.
