Tramore is certainly a nuanced course which suits certain horses, and so it was no surprise to see Lake Chad, having his 10th run at the venue, pick up yesterday’s feature race, the McCarthy’s Irish Bar Lexington Handicap Chase, for Philip Fenton and jockey Sean O’Keeffe.
