Kennedy makes winning return at Killarney
JACK'S BACK: Champion jockey Jack Kennedy after he won on his comback ride aboard Wudya.
Local hero Jack Kennedy made a successful return to action when delivering on his only ride on the final day of Killarney’s July meeting, the Gordon Elliott-trained Wudya, a clear-cut winner of the Europe Hotel & Resort Mares Maiden Hurdle.
The Dingle man, crowned champion jockey for the first time at the Punchestown festival, hadn’t ridden since, due to a foot injury and a lengthy suspension.
