Va Va Vroom should prove too slick for Leopardstown rivals

Two meetings this evening, and Leopardstown hosts a good Flat card on which the Jessica Harrington-trained Va Va Vroom can pick up a nice prize in the Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden.

The Bated Breath filly made her debut last month at Gowran Park and ran green for much of the trip. She appeared to be struggling just a little with what can be a difficult course for newcomers, but once she straightened up and found her stride, she devoured the ground and went down by just a head to January. Given the winner had prior experience and went on to be placed in a Group 2, it was a huge effort from the selection. Sure to be more streetwise this time, she will take beating.
