Davy Russell honoured at Horse Racing Ireland Awards

Jessica Harrington received the Contribution to the Industry Award while Auguste Rodin was named the Horse of the Year

Davy Russell had the Irish Racing Hero Award bestowed upon him at the 21st Horse Racing Ireland Awards, which took place on Monday evening in Dublin.

The Youghal man, who hung up his riding boots following a Grade One success aboard Irish Point on April 15 of this year, enjoyed tremendous success in the saddle, including those two memorable successes aboard Tiger Roll in the Aintree Grand National.
