Irish jockey Eddie Creighton has been placed in an induced coma after a fall at Warrnambool racecourse in Australia.

Creighton, who won two Pattern races when formerly based in Britain, was riding The Walrus when the horse stumbled shortly after the start, unseating Creighton in the process.
