Sprinter Sacre confirmed for Orchid Chase

Trainer Nicky Henderson has given Sprinter Sacre the green light to make his seasonal reappearance in the williamhill.com Desert Orchid Chase at Kempton on December 27.

The current superstar of the National Hunt scene had been due to run in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown on December 7, but the seven-year-old returned a dirty tracheal wash in the days leading up to that race and Henderson decided it was best not to risk him.
