Cheka team hoping for rain

Eve Johnson Houghton is excited about The Cheka’s bid for handicap glory in the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup.

The gelding, part-owned by comedian Mel Smith, has become more accustomed to Group company and has been placed in the Duke of York Stakes, July Cup and Prix Maurice de Gheest.
