Hamilton meet gets green light
This afternoon's meeting at Hamilton goes ahead as scheduled after the course passed a 7am inspection.
Clerk of the course Hazel Peplinski announced the early-morning check due to the forecast of further rain overnight, but is pleased to report conditions remain raceable.
Peplinski said: "Thankfully everything is all right this morning. We had 4.9 millimetres of rain in a sharp shower last night, but we're having a dry morning and the course is raceable.
"We're due a dry day today and might even get some sunshine, so hopefully the forecast is correct."
