Fairyhouse rained off

This afternoon’s meeting at Fairyhouse has been called off due to a waterlogged track.

Officials were due to inspect the course at 8am but made an earlier decision after further overnight rain.

The track tweeted: “10 mm of rain overnight todays meeting @fairyhouse is cancelled as track waterlogged.”

The feature Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Brownstown Stakes has now been transferred to Naas tomorrow.

The race reverts back to entries after the final forfeit stage and fresh declarations must be made by 10am today.
