Galway on Xsquared agenda
Reformed character Xsquared could have earned himself a trip to the Galway Festival after his easy victory at Fairyhouse on Wednesday night.
A maiden from plenty of efforts prior to division two of the Ratoath Handicap, the four-year-old had been chopping and changing between hurdles and the Flat before bolting up by six lengths.
“Blinkers made all the difference,” said trainer Joanna Morgan.
“He’d been acting the maggot and they worked for him. He can run over hurdles and on the Flat and I suppose he can mix it between them.
“You could probably go to Galway now, and some of the other summer meetings.”
