Rupert gives Aintree a miss

Time For Rupert has run his last race of the season after Paul Webber decided against turning him out again at Aintree on Thursday.

Initially after finishing fifth in the Cheltenham Gold Cup Webber was inclined to finish his stable star for the campaign, but after he apparently recovered from his exertions in good form, he was entered in the Liverpool Hurdle and the Betfair Bowl over fences.
