Donald McCain has decided against running Cinders And Ashes at Aintree next month and the youngster will now be aimed towards next season’s Stan James Champion Hurdle.
The plucky five-year-old has enjoyed a terrific campaign, culminating in his victory in the William Hill Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham.
