No inspection needed at Market Rasen

This afternoon’s meeting at Market Rasen will go ahead as planned.

Clerk of the course Robert Bellamy had called a precautionary 8am inspection due to the threat of overnight frost but temperatures did not dip as low as forecast.

“There was no need for the inspection,” said Bellamy.

“The sun is already up. We have a light ground frost as it dipped to minus 1C overnight but everything is fine.”
