Further inspection at Folkestone

Tomorrow’s meeting at Folkestone is subject to a second inspection at 7.30am.

The decision to check conditions again was made after an initial inspection by officials at 2pm this afternoon.

Clerk of the course Neil Mackenzie Ross said: “We’ve decided to have another look in the morning.

“The course is still unraceable at present, but there is some rain forecast and that would help us a lot.

“A couple of hours of rain could change the situation completely, so I think it would be premature to call it off today.”
