Folkestone to look again
This afternoon's meeting at Folkestone is subject to a further inspection at 10am.
Course officials had a look at 7.15am but with the course frozen in places felt it prudent to call another check.
With temperatures due to rise to 7C, every chance will be give to allow the track to thaw out.
Clerk of the course Neil Mackenzie Ross said: "There is a crust on the ground and the track is not currently raceable.
"It is due to be a bright and sunny morning with temperatures reaching 7C and therefore it has to be worth persevering."
