Chicago Grey out of Welsh National

Chicago Grey will not run in the Coral Welsh National at Chepstow on Tuesday.

Trainer Gordon Elliott said the eight-year-old Irish challenger is to miss the race due to travel issues.

Elliott tweeted on Saturday: “Chicago Grey unfortunately won’t run in Welsh National due to unforeseen bad weather preventing any ferries from carrying horses tonight.”
