Aidan O’Brien’s Irish Derby winner Treasure Beach may have his next start in the Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp.

Seville, his stable companion who chased him home at the Curragh, is also a possible for the same Group One.

Treasure Beach won the Chester Vase in May, beating Nathaniel in the process, and was then caught on the line by Pour Moi in the Epsom Derby before winning the Irish equivalent.

O’Brien’s wife, Anne-Marie, tweeted: “Treasure Beach could possibly go to the Grand Prix de Paris with Seville in Longchamp in two weeks time.”

Zoffany, the horse who has finished closer to Frankel than any other this season, suffered another narrow defeat in the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly on Sunday and could return to France for his next race.

“Zoffany ran very well when just touched off in the Prix Jean Prat. He is likely to go to the Maurice de Gheest in Deauville next,” she added.
