Ceilidh comeback delayed
Ralph Beckett has opted against starting Ceilidh House off in this weekend’s Kerry Group Noblesse Stakes at Cork and will choose a domestic target instead.
The daughter of Selkirk has been kept in training as a four-year-old after finishing her season with a Listed race victory at Doncaster in November.
She started that campaign with a third-place finish in the Lingfield Oaks Trial but lost her way until striking on Town Moor.
“She won’t go to Ireland, and the two races we are looking at are next week’s Warwickshire Oaks and the Hoppings Stakes at Newcastle,” said Beckett. “She is in good shape, we’re just waiting for some softer ground.”
