Coolmore still to decide on Pour Moi Derby bid

A decision on whether Pour Moi runs in the Investec Derby at Epsom on June 4 has still to be made.

Trained by Andre Fabre for the Coolmore triumvirate of John Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith, the Galileo colt was an impressive winner of the Prix Greffulhe at Saint-Cloud last weekend.

Pour Moi is as low as 6-1 for the blue riband event with totesport, but with fellow Coolmore-owned runners Recital, Seville and Treasure Beach also in the Epsom picture his participation remains uncertain.

“I was very pleased with Pour Moi last week,” Fabre told Press Association Sport.

“I thought he gave a very good feeling to everyone with the way he quickened up.

“We haven’t made a decision yet on where he is going to run next.

“I imagine one will be made in the coming week.”
