Wolverhampton call precuationary check for tonight's meet
Wolverhampton have called a precautionary inspection for 11am ahead of today’s twilight meeting.
Clerk of the course Fergus Cameron reports the track to be unraceable at present due to snow, but he remains upbeat about an improvement in conditions.
“It started snowing at 7.30am but it is forecast to turn to sleet and rain as the day progresses,” he said.
“It isn’t raceable at present but we do expect it to become raceable as the day goes on.
“On that basis, we have called a precautionary inspection but we are optimistic about racing going ahead.”
