Leicester assess conditions

Leicester’s meeting tomorrow is subject to an 8.30am precautionary inspection on raceday morning.

Temperatures are due to fall below freezing overnight, but clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson remains bullish.

“We’re absolutely fine as it stands and I’m very hopeful,” he said.

“There is a forecast for around minus 3C overnight but we should be OK.”
