No worries at Lingfield

This afternoon’s fixture at Lingfield goes ahead as scheduled following an early-morning inspection.

The all-weather meeting in Surrey had been under a shade of jeopardy due to a forecast of snow.

It rained instead, with four millimetres having fallen at the track overnight.

Clerk of the course Neil MacKenzie Ross said: “There was no snow, everything’s fine, and we’re good to race.”
