Kempton have been forced to abandon the second day of their festival fixture tomorrow that should have included the William Hill King George VI Chase and the williamhill.com Christmas Hurdle.

The frost from Saturday night and right into Sunday was more severe than forecast, and left director of racing and clerk of the course Barney Clifford with no alternative but to call off Monday's scheduled meeting and follow the fate of today's St Stephen's Day card.
