This afternoon‘s fixture at Kempton has passed an early-morning inspection and will go ahead as planned.

Clerk of the course Barney Clifford felt it prudent to assess conditions given the recent icy blast which has afflicted the Sunbury venue.

But with temperatures having reassuringly failed to dip below freezing overnight, the track is fit for action.
