Leicester for check tomorrow

Leicester have announced an 11am inspection tomorrow ahead of Wednesday’s fixture.

Although conditions have improved markedly over the last few days, clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson is wary of a forecast dip in temperatures.

Stevenson said: “It’s improved over the weekend, but the forecast is not good.

“It’s getting colder again and that could knock us back a bit.

“We’re in better position than we were on Friday, but the concern is for a severe drop in temperatures.”
