Casamento was significantly cut in price for next year’s 2000 Guineas after winning the Juddmonte Beresford Stakes at the Curragh.

Michael Halford’s two-year-old, owned by Sheikh Mohammed, justified the €10,000 supplementary fee when landing the odds in the Group Two contest.
