Martin Dwyer is giving up his rides for a couple of days after aggravating a shoulder injury.

The 2006 Derby-winning jockey was in action at Goodwood on Saturday and had two mounts booked for Ffos Las on Sunday.

“He’s done something to his shoulder. We don’t know if he’s pulled it or what. He’s going to take a day or two off until it gets better,” said his agent Gareth Owen.

“I think he aggravated it while he was riding on Saturday and it just wasn’t right.”
