Michael Halford unleashed a smart-looking colt at Tipperary this evening as Casamento took the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden.

Running in the famous maroon and white silks of Sheikh Mohammed, the son of Shamardal was soon at the head of affairs and not at all stretched to come home a smooth two and a half lengths clear of Cannon Hill.
