Zigato takes Haydock prize

Zigato gained a dramatic success under William Buick in the opening Racing UK Handicap at Haydock.

With three furlongs to race it looked as if the long-time leader Comedy Act, ridden by Phillip Makin who was deputising for the ill Paul Hanagan, was going to pinch it.
