Meow targets Tipp return
Queen Mary Stakes runner-up Meow will return to her local track Tipperary early next month.
Trainer David Wachman plans to aim slightly lower for the filly's next run despite her fine effort in the Group Two at Royal Ascot, where two necks divided her, the winner Maqaasid and third-placed Ladies Are Forever.
Wachman trains at Cashel in the central Irish county and sent Meow to his nearby venue for her previous start, when she won a maiden extremely easily.
"There's a Listed race at Tipperary on Sunday week (Danehill Dancer Tipperary Stakes) and that's where she'll go," said Wachman.
