Darley: McCoy deserves national recognition

The Professional Jockeys Association would like to see Tony McCoy shortlisted for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award on the back of his famous victory in the John Smith’s Grand National.

The soon-to-be 15-times champion jockey finally added the Aintree feature to his list of big-race triumphs on his bulging CV by steering home Don’t Push It on Saturday.
