Twenty-year-old Alex Duffy triumphed in this afternoon's Grand Prix at the French show in Villeneuve-Loubet when he took the €6,250 first prize on the Edenrock Investments-owned stallion 'Tampa'.

The Mayo-born rider, who jumped for Ireland's Nations' Cup team in Norway last year, went clear in both rounds, with Swiss runner-up Philipp Zuger well over a second behind on time with 'Liatos II".
