Master Medic is likely to miss a potential return to the course in this Saturday’s Betfair Ascot Chase.

One of two entries for Robert and Sally Alner, along with Miss Mitch, the gelding beat Fix The Rib at the Berkshire course in October before suffering a reversal to the same horse the following month.
