Kempton thwarted by frost

Monday’s jumps fixture at Kempton has been abandoned due to a frozen track.

With overnight temperatures having dipped to minus 3C, in addition to an unfavourable forecast, clerk of the course Barney Clifford was left with a straightforward call upon inspecting the track at 3pm.
