Ludlow on weather watch
Officials at Ludlow are waiting to see what the weather brings before deciding whether to stage an inspection ahead of Thursday's meeting.
Conditions at the track are perfectly raceable at the present but there is the possibility of snow in the next 24 hours.
If this does materialise, officials will stage an inspection at noon on Wednesday.
Clerk of the course Bob Davies said: "The forecasters are talking about the possibility of rain, sleet or snow.
"It's the difference of a degree either way whether it falls as snow, so we'll have a fair idea in the morning where we stand.
"If we have had snow we'll hold an inspection at noon tomorrow and see where we are."
