Kempton look again

Today’s twilight fixture at Kempton must now pass a 10am inspection after an early-morning check proved “inconclusive”.

Snow on the track is the major concern at the Sunbury venue, but officials are working tirelessly in spite of the unrelenting conditions.

Clerk of the course Barney Clifford said: “We had three centimetres of snow overnight and the forecast is for more moderate snow to fall.

“Our inspection at 8am proved inconclusive, so we will look again later this morning.”
