Newcastle meet snowed off

Tomorrow’s meeting at Newcastle has been abandoned following a 4pm inspection.

Officials first announced a 7.30am inspection for Saturday morning but with an inch of snow still lying on the track this afternoon, clerk of the course James Armstrong decided to bring the check forward.
