Allied Powers is a possible for the Listed Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes at Galway on Monday.

Michael Bell’s four-year-old, who went up 30lb in the handicap last season, may go to Ireland due to his liking for soft conditions.

Bell had considered the Grand Prix de Deauville this weekend for the Braveheart Stakes winner, but drying ground in France has ruled him out of the Group Two event.

Speaking on his website, www.michaelbellracing.com, the Newmarket handler said: “Allied Powers looks in good form and he has missed a race in Deauville on Sunday due to the drying ground.

“He could now head to Galway on Monday, where hopefully the wet weather they have been having in Ireland at present should be more to his liking.”
