JJ The Jet Plane flies in to Goodwood
Mike De Kock’s smart sprinter J J The Jet Plane steps back up to seven furlongs in the Betfair Cup at Glorious Goodwood on Tuesday.
The five-year-old finished fourth when sent off favourite for the Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot, before taking third in the July Cup.
Michael Stoute’s Main Aim filled the runner-up spot in the July Cup and is again in opposition, while Jersey Stakes winner Ouqba represents Barry Hills.
The Marcus Tregoning-trained Finjaan has his first outing since finishing ninth in the 2000 Guineas.
Godolphin saddle Asset, while Balthazaar’s Gift has only his third start for Clive Cox.
Dream Eater, Express Wish and Regal Parade complete the nine-runner field.
