McEvoy reaches milestone

Australian jockey Kerrin McEvoy registered the 1000th winner of his career at Randwick today when partnering Bright Mind to victory.

McEvoy, who enjoyed a successful spell with Godolphin as second jockey to Frankie Dettori, is now retained by Sheikh Mohammed’s Darley Stud to ride their extensive army of horses in Australia.
